Canon PIXMA iP7210 Printer Review– Some of the higher-end pixmas are more elegant-looking and attractive than Canon PIXMA iP7210, but, as the $100 printer go, this one is not bad-looking. At 17.8 inches wide, 15.5 inches deep, and 5.1 inches high, and weighs 14.4 pounds, this machine is small and light, short enough to fit under low-hanging shelves or cabinets. In addition, it supports Wi-Fi wireless connection, allowing you to find a place to make it easier.
It doesn’t support Wi-Fi Direct, though. Wi-Fi Direct is not the same as regular Wi-Fi; It allows you to connect mobile devices to laptops, smartphones and tablets to the printer without either the devices that are connected to the intermediate network. Currently, it is less and less common to find a printer that does not support Wi-Fi Direct.
Canon PIXMA iP7210 does control Panel talk, it necessarily lacks support for several other mobile-printing channels. For example, without a more complex dashboard, you can’t connect to cloud sites like Google Cloud Print or Google Drive. In addition, it gives you no way to browse and preview files on USB keys or memory cards, which is unusual for photographic printers. We would also like to see a PictBridge-compatible USB port for direct connection of digital cameras and other PictBridge devices.
